Looking for something to do with your extra sourdough starter? I was, until I found this great recipe (again from the C&Z website). I don't have crumpet rings, so mine turned out more like bubbly pancakes, but they were quite tasty with butter and jam nonetheless. Her pictures look beautiful (here's the link...http://chocolateandzucchini.com/archives/2010/01/sourdough_crumpets_with_natural_starter.php), and have inspired me to seek out some rings to make my crumpets more fluffy.
